Replogle Globes Luther Replogle started manufacturing globes in Chicago in 1930. He had a vision of a globe in every home - not just in classrooms - because the appeal of a globe is deeper than its value as a learning tool. Many of the Replogle globes were then made by hand, and still are. The cartography on these globes is as current as it is possible to be.
