This globe is a physical globe in that the focus of the globe is on the earth's natural features - mountains, deserts, grasslands etc. In additon, it has raised relief showing where the mountains are.The political boundaries of the countries also appear on the globe, but they are not dominant in that the countries do not appear in different colours.
The wooden pedestal and turnable arc are made out of natural cherry wood.
